A Creative Market Roundup for Fashion Bloggers

There are a lot of resources online to help your fashion blog look and operate better without you having to be a master in web design and development. Creative Market is one of our favorite resources for everything from stock photography, to fonts, to website and email templates. The site allows individual creators to set up their own store (an Etsy of design elements, if you will) and everything has a high degree of style, modernity and taste, at a price that won’t break the bank. Plus look for free weekly goodies in their emails and on their Facebook page. We’ve rounded up a few of our current favorite items to get you inspired this Monday morning.

Website & Email Templates:

Is it time to give your website a facelift? Or maybe you’re just starting out with an email newsletter to your readers. These are some of our favorite themes for WordPress and Blogger with the fashion-set in mind. We like to look for bright layouts with room for large, high-quality photos. And if you haven’t made your site responsive yet (mobile friendly), now is the time as Google takes mobile-friendlyness into consideration for organic search rankings.

Web Elements & Fonts:

A great font and design elements for your website are like a good accessory collection, and can really make an outfit. But remember, they can quickly go from glam to garish if you use too much at once. Having a great font for your logo or overlaid on select photos can help to brand your site and give your posts more of your personal style. And with the rise of social sharing, help ensure you’re always attributed to the original post and content.

Here are a few of our favs, but we’ve been known to spend hours getting lost in font design!

The Next Level

If you’re ready to take some of your blog elements to the next level, Creative Market can help you with that as well. From Photoshop and Lightroom actions to Business Cards for your next networking event, you can now fake your expertise in design with some simple templates that can be tweaked to your own liking.

Tell us – where else do you go to find great design resources for your site? Are you a DIY of design or hire an expert? We love to hear from you in the comments.
